Lisa draws from a wellspring of both Eastern and Western learning. She earned a Doctor of Medical Qigong at the International College of Medical Qigong, Studying under
Dr. Bernard Shannon — one of the leading lights of Medical Qigong in the Western world — she recently completed her Doctoral program there.
Additionally, Lisa graduated from the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner and
Aromahead Institute as a Certified Aromatherapist. She is a member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.
Previously, Lisa earned a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Tennessee Tech University, Her early career path led from Nashville and Houston to Mexico City — where she was a senior auditing executive for KPMG, one of the world's leading international accounting firms.
Lisa has journeyed far from her Tennessee roots in a passionate voyage of discovery — to exotic locations in North and South America, China, the Caribbean, Europe and Antarctica. Savoring movement in nature, she is an avid bicyclist, hiker, scuba diver, private pilot and oil painter. Lisa lives surrounded by beauty and nature in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Sedona, Arizona with husband Michael and their beloved Siamese cat.
